Data Subscriber Agreement
Manager Intelligence — Commercial Data Feed
Cavefish Ltd · Version 1.0 · January 2026 · This agreement governs all commercial data subscriptions. By accessing the data feed, subscribers accept these terms.
1. Parties
Supplier: Cavefish Ltd, 15 Neptune Court, Vanguard Way, Cardiff CF24 5PJ (Company No. 15127122, ICO ZB915633).
Subscriber: The organisation or individual executing a commercial data subscription with Cavefish for the Manager Intelligence data feed.
2. Nature of the data
The Manager Intelligence data feed comprises composite behavioural inference scores derived from FACS facial Action Unit analysis of publicly broadcast pre-match press conferences of named professional football managers. Outputs are:
- Genuine Confidence score (0–1) per manager per press conference
- Instability Index (0–1) per manager per press conference
- Net Confidence score (−1 to 1) per manager per press conference
These outputs constitute analytical inference data derived from observable behavioural signals in public professional contexts. They are not biometric identification data.
3. Permitted use
The Subscriber may use the data for:
- Quantitative sports analytics and model development
- Alternative data research and backtesting
- Internal investment research and decision support
- Integration into multi-factor analytical models
4. Prohibited use
The Subscriber must not:
- Make automated decisions affecting individuals based solely or primarily on these scores. This prohibition applies whether the individual is a data subject in the feed or any third party. Human review and judgement must be applied before any consequential decision.
- Re-identify or attempt to re-identify individuals beyond the named professional context in which the data is provided
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the raw data feed to third parties without Cavefish's prior written consent
- Use scores as evidence in legal, employment or regulatory proceedings against any individual named in the feed
- Combine with other personal data sources in ways that create a comprehensive personal profile of named individuals beyond their professional performance context
- Use for purposes not listed in Section 3 without written variation to this agreement
5. Subscriber's data protection obligations
The Subscriber acknowledges that the data feed contains information relating to identifiable individuals and that processing this data may constitute processing of personal data under UK GDPR.
The Subscriber must:
- Independently assess and document their own lawful basis for processing the data feed under UK GDPR (and any other applicable data protection law) before accessing the feed. Cavefish's own lawful basis does not transfer to or cover the Subscriber's downstream processing.
- Complete a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) if their use of the data constitutes high-risk processing under Article 35 UK GDPR
- Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data in accordance with Article 32 UK GDPR
- Notify Cavefish within 48 hours of becoming aware of any personal data breach involving the data feed
- Not transfer the data outside the UK/EU without appropriate safeguards (UK IDTA or equivalent) in place
- Delete or return the data upon termination of the subscription
6. Data subject rights
If a data subject exercises a right under UK GDPR (access, erasure, restriction, objection) directly with the Subscriber in relation to this data, the Subscriber must notify Cavefish within 5 working days. Cavefish will coordinate the response as data controller. The Subscriber must not independently respond to such requests without coordinating with Cavefish first.
7. Accuracy and disclaimer
The Manager Intelligence scores are analytical inferences, not objective measurements. They represent the output of a validated but probabilistic methodology applied to observable behavioural signals.
- Scores should be treated as one input among many, not as definitive assessments of an individual's state or intent
- Cavefish makes no warranty that scores will predict any specific outcome
- The statistical relationship between scores and match outcomes is subject to ongoing validation — current backtesting is directional, not at publishable significance
- Subscribers rely on the data at their own commercial risk
8. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
